First responders are one of the most important parts of a community. They wake up each day and decide to risk their lives to protect us. There is no community of people that deserve more gratitude than the individuals fighting to keep our friends and families safe.

Each year, Backyards & Bonfires hosts a First Responders and Military Appreciation Day. It’s a day full of games, fun activities, dinner, concert, and a bonfire to end the night. These men and women deserve a day of relaxation and fun with their families’ and making memories.

We want to show our appreciation and show that we care, not only by hosting a free event for FIRST Responders, Military, and Veterans. We extend this gratitude by picking a recipient who has been injured in the line of duty.
